This is the amazing brainchild of by me AND Lili Feinberg – let’s give credit where credit is due.

Emojis have become an important form of communication in today’s crazy technological. We have had entire conversations through emojis—no joke. A single emoji can convey so much. So we decided, why not pair emojis with their lengthier counterparts! See below for the results of our experiment.

Your Favorite Books as Emojis

1. When Dimple Met Rishi / Emergency Contact

Grab a coffee with these romantic reads! If there’s one thing we’ve learned from YA lit, it’s that a coffee shop is the best place to find your soulmate—especially one you don’t see coming!

2. To All the Boys / Starry Eyes

Sometimes the way to someone’s heart is a love letter, and in more extreme cases, it takes getting stuck in the woods with an ex to make things right.

3. People Kill People / Long Way Down

Some of our titles tackle difficult issues that are relevant in the world today. We highly recommend these two.

4. Rabbit & RobotSky Without Stars

These two “Space journeys” will literally take you out of this world into outer space where intergalactic shenanigans ensue!

5. Period Power

Need we say more?

6. City of Bones / Slayer

These two fandoms have earned their followings. Our heroes and sheroes kick-butt, take names, and sell books (as a side hustle).

7. Stay Sweet / Love & Gelato

Sometimes you just need a sweet treat to brighten up your day!

8. Save the Date

When brainstorming this article, we thought this was a wedding cake. Please pretend it is. Weddings are times of joy and love, unless you’re in the Grant family…

9. Dry

Excuse our sense of humor. We find this hysterical.

10. The Wicked Deep

Heed this book’s siren song. Also totally read it, it’s super creepy and good!

11. Crown of Feathers

This book is lit—Fawkes would be proud. Get pumped for its February release!
