Happy Monday, all!
It’s a new week and that means new reads for you!
We’ve got an early extended read of Shaun David Hutchinson’s The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza! This incredible book is about a 16-year-old girl who has inanimate objects that talk to her and tell her to save the world while she’s trying to survive high school. No big deal. We also have an extended excerpt of Amber Smith’s The Last to Let Go. This gripping, emotional story of a girl trying to figure out her place in the world after a horrific tragedy will totally grip you.
In keeping with our #ResolveToRead pledge, start a few new series this week. You can still begin The Program by Suzanne Young. Or read the scintillating start of the Unwind series, Unwind by Neal Shusterman. If intrigue during the Elizabethan-era is more your style, read Maid of Secrets by Jennifer McGowan. For romance with a healthy dose of the paranormal, read Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick.
Also if you want to take a trippy, heartfelt ride, start At the Edge of the Universe by Shaun David Hutchinson.
