Guys, I’m so excited because the third book in the Field Party series, After the Game, is finally here! I’m such a big Abbi Glines fan that I knew even before opening this book that I would love it. Still, I was blown away by how much I fell in love with this story and the romance between Riley and Brady. If you haven’t read this series yet, what have you been doing with your life? Below are 5 reasons you should pick this book up right now (and don’t worry—the books are standalone so you can start with After the Game!):

1. The romance

If there is one thing Abbi Glines is good at, it is writing romance and After the Game is no exception. The romance between Riley and Brady is seriously both spicy and sweet—basically everything you want in a romance.

2. The Southern charm

In After the Game, Abbi Glines perfectly captures that feeling of a small town in Alabama. Calling any fans of Heart of Dixie because you will seriously fall in love with this book. Complete with football games and pick-up trucks, this series brings on the southern charm.

3. Amazing characters

Riley and Brady are both fantastic and loveable characters, but Riley is no doubt my favorite. She is strong and independent—someone who has the courage to overcome the town that turned its back on her and raise her daughter as best she can.

4. Third book in the Field Party series

Though this book stands alone, it is part of the Field Party series. This book will allow us to return to Lawton Alabama and see the familiar faces (and couples) that we’ve grown to love. You can read the first book in the series, Until Friday Night, for free through September 4th!

5. It’s a book by Abbi Glines

If you haven’t ever read a book by Abbi Glines, now is the time to jump right in with this book! Then you can go back and check out her other books, like the Sea Breeze and the Vincent Boys series.
