It’s day 2 of our Fall 2017 cover reveals (#RivetedRevealFA17)!

You’re destined to fall in love with today’s reveals because they’re all romances! But fear not, they’re all very different love stories. First, we have Run Away with Me, the latest from Mila Gray, in which two friends fall into a passionate romance…but first they must confront a painful past filled with secrets. This book has a lot going for it:  it’s by Mila Gray, who blessed the world with Come Back to Me and Stay with Me, it’s a friends-turned-lovers story (those are the best!), and we love the way Mila’s books open with a teasing scene from the end of the story that pulls you in and keeps you reading!

Then, we have The Victoria in my Head from debut author Janelle Milanes, a laugh-out-loud novel about a shy, rule-following teen who joins a local rock band. Victoria Cruz is the perfect Latina-American front girl for this novel you didn’t know you needed and her love interests—Strand and Levi—are positively dreamy. We’ve already devoured this one and we can’t wait for you to read it!

Finally, we have the new cover for the paperback of The Last True Love Story by Brendan Kiely. This story follows Hendrix and Corrina as they bust Hendrix’s grandfather out of assisted living, and leave LA for New York in pursuit of freedom, truth, and love. This book has it all: a road trip, two love stories, and a dog! What’s not to love!

Scope out the covers and find out more about these three books below! And just in case you missed yesterday’s #RivetedRevealFA17 post, here it is:

The Victoria in my Head by Janelle Milanes

About the Book:

Victoria Cruz inhabits two worlds: In one, she is a rock star, thrashing the stage with her husky voice and purple-streaked hair. In the other, currently serving as her reality, Victoria is a shy teenager with overprotective Cuban parents, who sleepwalks through her life at the prestigious Evanston Academy. Unable to overcome the whole paralyzing-stage-fright thing, Victoria settles for living inside her fantasies, where nothing can go wrong and everything is set to her expertly crafted music playlists.

But after a chance encounter with an unattainably gorgeous boy named Strand, whose band seeks a lead singer, Victoria is tempted to turn her fevered daydreams into reality. To do that, she must confront her insecurities and break away from the treadmill that is her life. Suddenly, Victoria is faced with the choice of staying on the path she’s always known and straying off-course to find love, adventure, and danger.

The Victoria in my Head will be available on September 19, 2017!

The Last True Love Story by Brendan Kiely

About the Book:

“The point of living is learning how to love.”

That’s what Gpa says. To Hendrix and Corrina, both seventeen but otherwise alike only in their loneliness, that sounds like another line from a pop song that tries to promise kids that life doesn’t actually suck. Okay, so: love. Sure.

The thing about Corrina—her adoptive parents are suffocating, trying to mold her into someone acceptable, predictable, like them. She’s a musician, itching for any chance to escape, become the person she really wants to be. Whoever that is.

And Hendrix, he’s cool. Kind of a poet. But also kind of lost. His dad is dead and his mom is married to her job. Gpa is his only real family, but he’s fading fast from Alzheimer’s. Looking for any way to help the man who raised him, Hendrix has made Gpa an impossible promise—that he’ll get him back east to the hill where he first kissed his wife, before his illness wipes away all memory of her.

One hot July night, Hendrix and Corrina decide to risk everything. They steal a car, spring Gpa from his assisted living facility, stuff Old Humper the dog into the back seat, and take off on a cross-country odyssey from L.A. to N.Y. With their parents, Gpa’s doctors, and the police all hot on their heels, Hendrix and Corrina set off to discover for themselves if what Gpa says is true—that the only stories that last are love stories.

The paperback of The Last True Love Story will be available on September 26, 2017.
