Happy New Year, Readers!

This month on Riveted, we’re spotlighting New York Times bestselling author Ellen Hopkins! Each week, we’ll be featuring a full read of one of Ellen’s books, from Burned to Tricks to Crank, and finishing off the month with an extended excerpt of her newest novel, The You I’ve Never Known. Of course, if Ellen’s hard-hitting “tough stuff” topics and poetic style aren’t what you’re looking for, we’ll have some alternatives for you! Aside from Burned, this week we’re also featuring an extended excerpt of Kara Lee Corthron’s debut novel about first love and the wreckage of growing up, The Truth of Right Now. We’ve also got an extended excerpt of Sarah Fine’s beautifully crafted fantasy novel The Impostor Queen, the sequel of which — The Cursed Queen — just went on sale this week!
