    After being addicted to The Chemical Garden trilogy, I read Perfect Ruin over the summer and was drawn in immediately. I’ve heard so many amazing things about The Telling and would love to read it next!

    While there have been ample good books available this summer, perhaps the one that impressed me the most was All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.

    It wasn’t a good book, not even a great book. It was an Amazing book! Mr. Doerr writes a story as smooth as butter with air bubbles in it that POP! in just the right places for elements of surprise.

    You’ll want to hang on to your tissue box while reading this but your heart will walk away happy you gave it a go.

    I have all of these on my TBR (I know, I’m embarrassingly far behind) but my favourite Riveted Summer read suggestion is The Telling by Alexandra Sirowy and We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson.

    But all these comments on The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson!! I definitely need to push that one up on my TBR list!!

  90. Ooooh, such a hard decision! There were so many awesome Riveted Summer reads. I’m going to have to go with ‘The Last Boy and Girl in the World’ by Siobhan Vivian. I picked it up solely because of the gorgeous cover, but the story was adorable. Siobhan Vivian is such a great writer of love stories. :)

    Best Book I’ve read this summer was definitely Eleanor & Park ! It was so heart wrecking ๐Ÿ˜ญ If I have to choose one of these books, I would definitely go for Lady midnight, I love Cassandra Clares Shadowhunter world so much and really enjoyed the first book of her new trilogy!! Can’t wait for the release date of the second book

    Lady Midnight is so cool. Other favs I’ve read this summer The Raven Boys, I Am Number 4 series, and Sara Shepard’s The Perfectionists. I read a lot. I’m finishing 4 books 2 manga and Play It Backwards this week.
