Book Description:

In the tradition of Bridget Jones’s Diary, a lovably flawed high school student chronicles her life as she navigates the highs and lows of family, friendship, school, and love in a diary that sparkles with humor and warmth.

I’m Chloe Snow, and my life is kiiiiind of a disaster.

On the plus side, I got the lead in the musical!

On the down side…

1. I’m a kissing virgin (so so so embarrassing).
2. My best friend, Hannah, is driving me insane.
3. I think I’m in love with Mac Brody, the most popular senior guy, whose girlfriend is so beautiful she doesn’t even need eyeliner.
4. My dad won’t stop asking me if I’m okay.
5. Oh, and my mom moved to Mexico to work on her novel. But it’s fine—she’ll be back soon. She said so.

Mom tells me everything is copy. So I’m writing down all the horrible things that happen to me in this diary.

This is the worst year of my life so far, unless maybe it’s the best.

But that’s not all! We’re giving you an exclusive sneak peek at the prologue! Read on:

The cover! I like the fact that it actually looks like a girl’s journal. Therefore, it already says a lot about the story! I love its simplicity! It’s so adorable in this site because it complements the gray and blue of Riveted 🙂 Thank you for the prologue! So good already!

  15. KateT16 says:

Like that it looks like a real diary

  16. hannahmontana15 says:

This book sounds amazing and reminds me of Gabi, A Girl in Pieces. I loved that book and based on this description I can relate.

  17. UA says:

The font and graphic design used is a perfect fit. I like the added detail of the elastic band used around the book. Although I appreciate that it is in the Bridget Jones tradition, Bridget Jones is not YA. I usually like comparing apples to apples. I think a better description would be, Fans of Georgia Nicolson (Knocked out by my Nunga Nungas) will enjoy the daily disasters and thoughts of Chloe Snow.
I actually laughed a bit while reading the excerpt. I will add this to my ‘to read’ shelf!

  18. Alexa says:

The cover looks really appealing without being too busy. And the excerpt is really intriguing!
